Pre-Wedding Questionnaire

Please provide a couple of contact numbers for both the bridal party and groom's party on the morning of the wedding in the unlikely event that I need to get in touch with you.

Where will you be getting ready? Please include the postcode or websites if appropriate. What time would you like me to join you from? Typically I'll be there a couple of hours before you leave for the ceremony. Do you have a hair and/or make up artist coming? If so what time?

What time are you leaving for the ceremony? How are you getting there?

Anything else I need to know about the morning?

Unless you are in the same venue or nearby to the bride (or have booked a second photographer) there probably won't be time to capture groom prep but if you are going to be in the pub/bar before the ceremony, let me know as I can often join you there.

What else do I need to know about the ceremony? Are there any readings or other special elements?

Are there any restrictions I should be aware of?

What's the plan for the reception? What time are things like the drinks, reception, speeches and meal taking place?

Who will be making a speech?

The one time I wont normally be taking pictures during the day is during your meal. Will you be providing a meal or should I make my own arrangements?

What are the timings for the evening reception and any key events such as the cake cutting, first dance etc.

Are there any group shots you would like me to capture? Please remember that even with a crack team of ushering ninjas it can still take 4-5 minutes to get groups together. If you require a lot of groups, lets have a chat on the phone to discuss how best to work it in to your day. I've included a standard list that I find I can work through quickly and efficiently. Please add or delete as appropriate.

Are there any family circumstances that I should be aware of? Basically, I'm looking to avoid putting my foot in it when chatting to your parents and other family members.
