So many couples tell me they want a relaxed and stress free day but few have seemed more committed to it than Alex and Sean. Despite some nerves during the early prep, meticulous planning (on the most part from Alex) and some serious graft to get their marquee venue ready the day before, ensured that they got exactly what they were after.
The day started in Wetherby where the bridal party returned one by one from the local salon to receive the Glam by Elizabeth Daisy treatment. Then we headed down the road to Boston Spa for a beautiful church service before finishing the day in Kirk Hammerton. The marquee was just across the road from the church where Alex’s grandparents were laid to rest and her decision to lay some of the flowers from her bouquet on their grave provided a poignant moment as the sun set on their day.
