My final wedding of 2015 took place on the 29th of December and so, although I took some of my favourite shots of the year, they didn’t make it in to my recent year end roundup.
Emma and Liam swung by my house one night after they finished work and I immediately understood why their wedding wasn’t imminent! Although they were pulling together their wedding plans, they were also planning for the arrival of baby Olivia. I was delighted to meet her a few months before the wedding when we caught up for the pre-wedding shoot and it was clear on the wedding day that she had not only stolen the hearts of Emma and Liam but also her grandparents and the rest of the family. There is something really special about the marriage of couples who have already started their family. It’s hard to put in to words but I think it brings the important stuff of weddings, like the committed love and support of family and friends in to sharper focus.
When Olivia joined Emma and Liam for the first dance, it was one of the cutest moments of the day!
I’m writing this on what will hopefully be our last lazy Saturday for a while. Rache is due to give birth any day and finishing up the images of Emma, Liam and Olivia over the last couple of days has left me even more excited.
Thorpe Park made for a fantastic winter wedding venue. Although the outdoor space is limited, inside there is a wide variety of beautiful spaces to enjoy and create great images.
